Hi everyone,
After much back and forth with my parents about who was posting what I find myself with the responsibility of introducing myself and my husband Jon. I am Heather Skelton, daughter of Peter and Carol Skelton and granddaughter of Peter and Libby (Gibb). Currently Jon and I call Winnipeg home. Jon is doing his residency in internal medicine with the University of Manitoba and I am working as an Occupational Therapist doing community outreach with infants and preschoolers. Since getting married, Jon has had to learn to love camping and hiking and I have had to learn to love road biking and golf :) We have both recently taken up cross country skiing (a sport well suited to the snowy flat of Manitoba) but can hardly be considered proficient yet! Much of what little spare time Jon has left he spends on the constant quest for the perfect collection of bass guitars and deciding what to put in the music studio he plans to build once we have a house. I fill much of my non-working hours rowing with the Winnipeg Rowing Club and helping run one of the local
guide units. The attached are pictures from a couple of trips
we've taken and from a friend's wedding.
